MIINT Team Application

Participating in the MIINT competition allows students the opportunity to experience the process of sourcing, evaluating, diligencing, analyzing and recommending a seed/angel stage impact investment. Teams from twenty-five top business schools from around the world will compete in the finals in April 2025. More information is available at https://turnermiint.org/.

Kellogg will field a team of 5 students, and team members can receive course credit through Venture Lab during the winter quarter. Professor Tasha Seitz, Adjunct Professor of Social Impact and General Partner of Impact Engine,  an early stage impact investing fund based in Chicago, will be the advisor to the team. There are two ways to participate in the MIINT team:

  • As a co-captain:  After being chosen, the co-captains will select the remaining team members in consultation with Professor Seitz.  Each captain will need to submit their own application
  • As a team member: Team members will be selected by co-captains

All applications are due by Friday September 27th, 11:59pm CDT. If you wish to be considered as a co-captain, please indicate in the application by checking the box.

Co-Captain interviews will be held on Friday October 4 from 12pm-2pm. As a co-captain, you will be expected to not only participate in the selection of the team, but to serve a leadership and coordination role throughout the competition.

Co-captains will select the full team immediately after selection, with the goal of having the full team selected and ready to attend the MIINT Student Kickoff Webinar on October 9.

If you have any questions, please contact Tasha Seitz at tasha@theimpactengine.com or Tania O'Connor at tania.oconnor@kellogg.northwestern.edu.

We use Submittable to accept and review our submissions.
